This articles is about the deaths caused by the chosen mascot for each system.

So, first let us identify the mascots:

  • Windows mascot is well, the common "window".
  • Linux mascot is the mighty Penguin named Tux
  • Apple mascot is obviously the nutritious "Apple" fruit, half eaten
  • BSD mascot is the evil looking Devil known as "Daemon"

Deaths by Windows[edit | edit source]

The seemingly benovelent and safe Windows has a much darker side. Acording to WebMD, 5,100 kids are injured by using Windows every year,[1] and that's just in USA.

Deaths by Penguin[edit | edit source]

The death toll caused by penguins is up for debate. According to some, Penguins have killed 0 humans,[2] but acording to others Penguins are more dangerous than Guns![3]

Tux the Penguin

Deaths by Apple[edit | edit source]

There's a saying that, "an apple a day keeps the doctor away"; but eating a rotten or half-eaten apple could bring back the doctor anyway !

Too bad there is no statistics on how many people died by rotten Apple food posioning.

Deaths by the Devil[edit | edit source]

This one is hard to categorize, especially because no one alive has supposedly seen the Devil.

BSD Daemon

We do know the tools used by the Devil, and they are Pride, Greed, lust, wrath, envy, etc, etc. And these tools of the Devil have killed more people than any other entity living or dead.
